Help!!
Just purchased a 2007 deluxe after riding a 883L for years. I love it, problem is i need at least another 1.5 inches closer to the ground. Also can't reach kick stand and it already has an extension. Getting all different anwsers " lowering kit will do it", "progressive shocks"...
changed the seat to a super reduced reach seat!!!
I am 4'10
Lowering it is going to give you a bumpy ride. I would suggest you get a shotgun shock so you can lower it where you want it but keep a great quality ride
I've got the Progressive drop-in kit on mine, and it's lowered a bit over 2" in front. Out back I've got the Shotgun. Not sure you're gonna get much lower.
I'll second the Shotgun Shock for the rear. For the front a set of drop ins will help the height but the ride will suffer. A set of intimidators and heavy oil will help that as well.
