Don't overlook the balancing either aside from the spokes.

Ok definately need some air. I usually check more but for some reason I haven't lately.
hopefully that will help though I'll have to do the hill that comes down into my valley before I will definately know. Gonna pull the book out and see how to look at the spokes. Wonder if I should just take a ride over to the dealer and have them check balance/spokes?

Take something hard like maybe a small hammer and hit each spoke lightly in the center. If the spoke is tight it will "ring" and if it is loose it will make a thunking sound. If you find a loose one, tighten it using the hex head at the tire end of the spoke until it has the same "ring" sound as the tight ones.

You can check the spokes easily. Just take a small wrench and tap each spoke. If they are tight, you will hear a "ring" while tapping on each spoke. They should all be similar. If you hear a "dead" spoke (no ring) it is loose. Tighten till it has the same ring tone as the rest. Let us know.

Cool, I'll give that a try on the spokes. Went away for the weekend so I didn't have time to check it out. Will be test riding on Tuesday (I'm off for some Doc appointments (me and the hubby).

Bev,

Just be thankful that you don't have to check 200 spokes like some others do...

One other thing that you might check is the preload on your shocks for the rear suspension. You may have a situation where one shock is set to a higher preload rate than the other when they should be the same. This may be why it becomes more noticeable when cornering. Just another thought.

Yeah 200 spokes would be a bummer!

Gonna check them in the morning and do some riding tomorrow...supposed to be 95 degrees again. Got to get some riding in [8D]
