I bet the blackline turns real quick with that skinny tire out back. I'v seen some done that I like but right out of the box, not my thing.

No decision yet. But leaning to Blackline for brand new and me being the only owner. The guy grabbing my Deluxe put it off until tomorrow. I am highly considering the bike in our classifieds but the Ebay listing ends before Friday so I am not sure. I believe (who knows) that the HD lineup gets announced Friday the first. Even though my dealer will take the deposit on the Denim Blackline he wont say or may not know yet whats built in to that price or what that price is.
That will sway me some plus if I cant get one for the deal I want then that means its the NT for sure.
My plan then is Friday to go in with 10k in cash and ask for MSRP out the door including the taxes. prep etc, 3.99 financing (my score is 780) and 20% off parts put on the bike and labor.
More than fair.
So A. have to see the new actual MSRP, B. get the deal I want plus financing rate.
If it does not happen I have about 6 Night Trains lined up on my Ebay Watch list.

Try to find a dealer that has a used Night Train and new Blackline in stock and demo both bikes, could help alot in your decision. Handle bars on blackline take a little time to get used to, but once you do you'll enjoy them. Good Luck in your decision.

I like the looks of both of them. As many may agree, the TRAIN is the original Dark Love. I own a 2002 Train and love. like Blackline says though, you may wanna just get on both and what feels best to you. Good luck with the decision............... GO Night Train!

I really don't think you can go wrong with either. I'm a little partial to the Blackline myself as I just got one a few weeks ago. But if you go with a NT you'll be able to use the money saved on mods.

I agree with a lot of people on this one with listening to your heart and which bike makes you just want to ride the ***** off it! I bought me a new Blackline because every time I looked at it I couldn't stop thinking about riding the **** outta it and all of the cool ways I plan on modding it. I also rode a Dyna WG and the Blackline and just couldn't get over how comfortable the bike was and how responsive the bike felt to me. I never asked anyone what they thought because it's my money I plopped down and until someone else helps pay for it, then it doesn't matter what they think or say. Half the fun of owning any HD is making it look and run the way YOU want, not what anyone else thinks is cool.

Don't really care what's cool as much as what people may have discovered. My few minutes on the bikes is not the same as those that bought. I have bought stuff before and been more than happy to tell my friends I wish I had stayed with my other gear,
So far I am hearing folks are digging their Blacklines and that was what I was looking for. I kinda knew Night Train guys loved them. It's also interesting to hear how happy they are and that they would not trade up.
Forget cool. Thats just good feedback that helps make a decision being that I am equally fond of the bikes.
There are folks that like to get feedback and try to learn from others and there are folks that are quite happy touching fire to learn its hot.
Different strokes.
First HD for you eh? I love the excitement!
So the great news is that you find it handles really well after riding her a bit. Felt good to me but I kept reading " getting used to the handlebars" Had me concerned for longer time with it and true feel.

I've been riding my blackline for a few months now and real happy with its handling and solid feel. I used to have a hardtail with skinney rear tire that also handled great. Love the handle bars, in fact you couldn't pay me to switch them out. I'm 6'1 and find them very comfortable, but just in case you find the reach to far, HD already has 4'' pull backs available for the bike. I love my bike, but given the choice I would go with a 2012 Blackline with the 103 motor. Good luck in your purchase.
