Default Used Night Train or New 103 Blackline

Share your opinions.
So I am days away from this guy picking up my Deluxe and putting the money on a 2012 103" Denim Blackline. Originally I started looking for Night Trains because I love them and I wanted Denim. Then my dealer told me he had this BL coming in and denim was the new color so I stopped looking.
Now there is a sweet 2007 in the classifieds as if it was fate. I found I can get a Heartland kit to round the fender the way I like and it seems I could probably do engine work comporable to the new stock 103.
Anything about the 2007s to be wary about?
Which way would you lean. I really want a new bike this time but keep getting drawn back to Night Train.

For the right price, you can definitely buy the train and mod the engine to be more powerful than a stock 103 and still save some cash. Brett is right, no warranty. That said, I plan to do a big bore kit on my new lo and that will likely end the warranty on the critical issues anyway. Go with you heart. I like the trains also.

I agree with Brett..........Get the new Denim Blackline. You're going to end up modifying both of them anyway, so you may as well get the warranty and, with a new bike, you know what you're getting. Also, the 103" in a light Blackline should be QUICK!

That train with 2500 miles looks very tempting .I would go with the NT.Save loads of cash and mod it to your taste. It looks like a new bike. But as mentioned no warranty.I don't think that would stop me though.Especially if thats what you always wanted.Plus its cool that they don't make them any more. Its like you have something kind of special.I have always been a BIG fan of the NT though. So my opinion may be a bit biased.

The 2012 is already built to a 103 with a warranty. I'd go with the 2012.

Train. You don't buy Harley for the warranty, plus the warranty only lasts a few years. Do you buy your vehicles based on warranty? If I'm gonna drop that much cash I'm shoppin for a good product too.

Your original question was any concerns? Nope. Night train has always been a solid bike. No issues.
