Default How to remove weights from rims
Putting ME880's on today, how do I remove the balancing weights and adhiesive from my fatboy's chrome wheels without damage to the rims?

Warm them with a hair dryer, peel them off or run some dental floss under them. Clean up remaining glue residue with WD40. Same principle as for removing of the reflectors.

Mine peeled of without a problem and needed no heat at all.

Get some dyna beads, then you are rid of those unsightly wheel weights!
