My 2 cents as a Lo owner. I don't want to spend hours waxing and polishing gloss paint and chrome when I could be riding. The black denim and "Testor silver" is low maintenance. I get compliments on the demin paint all the time. The bike, while it looks better clean, does not show dirt and road splash anywhere near as bad as a vivid black and chrome bike would.
Ya its deffanetly easier to clean i will agree on that! I just sold my 2009 Night train that was denim black and it was easy to clean as well! Thing i liked about the night train was it still had alittle chrome in it and i always thought it really made the bike pop! Thats kind of whats making me lean to the regular Fatboy black it out but leave just enough chrome to set it off!

Yeah, that's because it's and overall "dull" finish. If I want dull, I don't wash mine. We all know that Vivid Black w/chrome is faster......less drag.
I park my bike next to many others and I'm the one always getting compliments and people snapping pictures of it. People love black denim and tastefull mods. But it is up to ones personal taste.
to each their own----Lo owner say Lo and Fatboy owners say Fatboy...
I know, huh? Not real sure you would find any Fatboy owners who would say "Go LO," or any Lo owners that would say, " uhhh, Go Fatboy."
They're all Phat Harleys!!!
A Denim Lo will always stand out in the crowd. You either LOVE it or HATE it. But, you'll usually always get more attention then most all those other gleamers one way or another.
Fierofly ..... I dont know where you go but i think your statement about gleamers not getting as much attention as denim is purely down to curiosity rather than admiration .... All Fatboys are cool but a vivid black Fatboy with the bling was First and will always be that ..... FIRST
