I was having a few beers with a dealership GM last night and we got to talking about the 2012's....
As he said: It's purely speculation as to any new updates until the 20th...
He told me that the dealerships don't even know what they are getting yet...
Apparently the dealership meetings are on the 20th so they will know when we do.
He broke it down to me and basically said HD is very tight lipped about all of this stuff. I asked him why and he pointed out my earlier comment: If I knew the 2012 bikes were getting a 103 I would have waited.
He told me that if HD promoted the new bikes before they were available the dealerships would suffer greatly. All of the sales would drop to almost 0 for the month leading up to the 2012 release.
