four trips back to the dealer and they've only fixed one problem ? if they don't get it this time i'd be looking for a new dealer and writing a very detailed letter to HD head office

Yea that. A dealer that can't or won't take care of your problems is one that I would run away from. The bike should go in with a list of unsatisfactory items, and come out with none, along with a great big sorry for any inconvenience from the owner of the dealership.
The first time i took it in they said they fixed it all and to enjoy.
The second time i took it in they fixed one issue and called it good.
The third time i took it in they said they tried to fix it but could not. They blamed me and my 16" apes and dual exhaust for the left pull. They told me they called a harley tech and he said since i took the stock exhaust off it threw the bike out of balance. Their solution, "Put 30lbs of tools in the right saddle bag".
The fourth time they were not happy to see me and didnt know what else they could do to fix my problems.
The mods i had them do:
16" chubby wild one apes
33" samson dual fishtails
White wall tires
Air cleaner/Race tuner/Security
Personally i think they screwed something up when they put the tires on. The only other thing i can think of is the front brake line coming directly out of the res. is pressing tightly against the handle bars. I dont know
Is there anyone next time you go in for service you could drive the bike right up their ***. This is not acceptable. I dont even know why the dealer dicks around with it, just get you a new bike so everyone can be satisfied.
the dealer ... Put 30lbs of tools in the right saddle bag
me ... can i borrow your phone , i need to make 2 calls
the dealer ... who you gonna call ?
me ... HD's head office complaints department and my lawyer
Out of balance sounds like BS to me...I worked at a dealership as a service manager and never used that excuse. Sounds like a wheel issue to me. Did they take the wheels off and check the balance?
If the dealer did the mods, then he needs to make it ALL right.
If however you want to feel safe riding your bike, either get a good indy to take a look before you go on your cruise or go over it all yourself. I would not trust this (or many) HD dealer as far as I can throw him/them.
