Default 2007 CVO Springer question

Friend just picked up a 2007 CVO Springer it is stock. The 2007 comes with a 200 rear tire on a 17x6 rear. The 2009's come with a 240 rear tire.

Anyone know if you can go to a wider tire on the stock rim and swingarm? The 2009 also went up to an 18" rim and also a wider front tire.

Told him the 200 is plenty wide talked him out of buying the Rocker they had for the same price he picked up the CVO Springer with 9K miles on it.

The 200 is a nice sized tire. Not too small, and not to wide, just right! IMHO

I like the Springer better than the Rocker. I'm another who thinks the big fat tire fad has run it's course.
