i have a stock 96cube blackline with screaming eagle slip on mufflers and a se heavey breather with a se pro tuner. i have a set of se 255 cams off a 2008 se110 dyna they have done about the same miles as my bike will these be ok to put in my bike as i am after some feedback thanks.or what cam should i be looking at for some more grunt without getting to carried away with the dollars
Grunt where? Down low or at higher RPM's?
The 255's are great bolt in cam for low end and mid range performance, but top end performance will only be moderately improved. But since you've already got them, it would be a cheap performance gain over the stock cams.
Another cam to check out would be the Andrews 48. With a later intake closing, they still has the low and mid range grunt, but should do a bit better in top end performance.
There are a dozen cams that would work in Ur bike..
most put in there cam after figuring out what their riding style is...
Like,,, mostly putting around, highway, or wind her out all the time...
Intake close of 25*-35* will give U power low-mid
I.C. of 35*45* will give U power in the mid-high range.
The SE 255 are really made for heavy touring bikes. there stump pullers under 4k but fall off quickly over that..
Go to the DYNO's for Softails thread, It in the stickys at the top of page 1,, look through it and see if There's a sheet that U like. then pick accordingly.

I actually just put these in my bike about a month ago. They come on strong around 2k and then pull strong to redline. I would have recommended them had you not already had the 255's
I don't know about you guys, but top end is the least of my concern on a Harley. No tachometer, but i doubt I ever get over 4000 rpm's. the 255's should work but they fall flat on their face at 4000 RPM's. Like it has been said above, there are many cams that will give you a nice boost.
