Most commonly suggested cams seem to be SE211, Woods TW6, Andrews 37H and S&S 510. Your best bet for satisfaction with the cam is to be truely honest with yourself and the seller as far as what you really want and how you will ride the bike. It's easy to go for the big monster cam looking at the huge gains only to find it has lost low end and is no longer rideable. I went with the Andrews 26H and have been real happy with it. I got the big nasty tempremental cam phase out of my system with my GTO.
The SE 255's seem to be pretty popular for low end torque. As with anything else, some will recommend them and others will steer you away and recommend cams from the aftermarket. I would have to guess with just a stage 1 and no head work, you'll probably looking at 8-10 hp/tq gains.
I'm going with Andrews 37H (thanks Tige). I am keep the stock 88ci bore with .030 head gaskets to get the compression up to the 9.4 range and sending my heads to big boyz. All said and done about a $700.00 build.
