did my cams over the weekend. and with the exception of a broken clutch cable...everything went smoothly. i broke my clutch cable while changing out my chrome tranny cover for a wrinkle black one. while installing the cable into the cover i guess i overtightened it and it snapped the threads off the end.
borrowed the inner cam bearing tool from a friend and changed out my bearings to the torringtons...all together about 8 hours of work including a meal break.
bike is at the dealership to get dyno'd and tuned tomorrow. i will have a dyno sheet up in the dyno section as soon as i get it back tomorrow night.
specs in the sig...super stoked to get darth marge back tomorrow
no head work...stock 96 with a big sucker and big shot staggered pipes.
shop said i could see 85hp and 95 tq with these cams. they also said i could go +5 on both if i were to go to a 2-1 exhaust. looking at possibly changing to br 2-1
looking forward to the #s...but im mainly looking forward to the butt dyno.
