The Softail felt the best. Most comfortable. In the bike vs. on the bike. Smooth ride, easy transitions, and didn't feel top heavy and awkward at low speeds with hairpin cornering maneuvers.

I love my Lo. And am sure the ride will only get better once the Doc hooks me up with a Shotgun Shock.
I love the ride of my Lo bone stock. I would only think of getting a Shotgun Shock for that slammed look. That money could be put to a lot of mods.

Besides that, I absolutely enjoyed the full day of riding with it. Fatboys imo is great for making neighbors & cougars look and versatile enough for the long rides. I spent a few months this winter narrowing down to the new Lo...no regrets.
I installed HD 4" curved risers on my Lo and it has helped quite a bit... not feeling like I am leaning too far forward anymore. It helped the *** ache a little bit, but I still hurt after about 2 hours or so. Thinking of replacing the seat someday when funds are available. Been looking at the Mustang Wide Solo with backrest. Use the backrest and windshield on long rides... take em both off for commuting.

Well my dyna wide glide was hit in my work parking lot. It was parked minding it's own business and a coworker backed into it knocking over doing $4,630.20 worth of damage accordinto my local hd dealer. I'm just waiting on her insurance to come and do a look over the bike and write me a check! Then I either fix it myself cheap or sell as is. I have my eye on some older softails both for the same price and 20k miles. Ones a Fatboy and the other a custom. Now after doing some more reading guys seem to say a Dyna will ride better than a Softy. To me that sounds backwards!

I think my deuce rides better with my girlfriend on the back. Don't get me wrong it rides great when I am solo but when she is with me it's a smoother ride. I am running progressive shocks on the back so maybe that has something to do with it. I have heard that dyna's ride better solo and worse 2 up. I rode my friend's dyna SG last summer and I didn't mind the ride but my deuce rides better for me.

I am 6'4 and I sit down in the rocker with the danny grey seat. however, I feel high on all the other softails. so, if you want to sit down in, i recommend you change out the seat to bare bones on the softail you choose. jmo

well the insurance company is mailing me a check and wont total my dyna out. that is a good thing i think cause i can fix it super cheap and pocket the rest of cash then still sell the dyna for a softail in the spring. bare bones or a bandlander seat is a must.
