How come when you order something from a vendor they make sure they get the amount of purchase correct, ever hear of getting charged $12.00 for $1200.00 wheel, don't think so.
You know its great that they are taking care of the issues but if the dumb *** doing the work would have just paid attention to what he was doing this would not have happened. Really how hard is it to put a tire on when there is an arrow on the tire for direction. This just shows you that people just dont give a **** these days. They dont care if it takes two more weeks to send the parts back to get fixed. It just sucks when you pay for it to be done right and in a fairly timely fashion. I think quality control needs to be paying more attention before the **** gets shipped. Hell its not like its rocket science.

My thoughts exactly. I have had numerous conversations with varying companies on this specific subject and always get the same answer...We are human and make msitakes.
Then someone needs to learn from those mistakes and take corrective measures to make sure they do not happen again.
Totally, I would say the head of qaulity control needs to get his **** together. I run a very large roofing company In the NorthWest with anywhere from 20-45 men. With all the proper quality control in place we have very few negative call backs. Most call backs are from the owners saying how professional our team is. But my crews have team player mentality. I dont put up with the negative bullshit. I also dont like to deal with companys that cannot produce what they are manufacturing and selling. I do understand that people make mistakes but hell this guy had his eyes closed when he boxed this one up.
You would think with all the extra shipping fees they incur that they would.

I bet with all the money they are making with sales, it's all a trade off in the end. I'm totally guessing here, but I bet Ride Wright experienced a big boom in sales recently with forum supporters and highly sought after wheels. So you are stuck with the problem of having to hire more people and train them, or try and ride the storm out and maximize profits with the employees you have. I have seen it happen in my own small business and with the snowmobile aftermarket performance companies which I was heavily involved with when I raced. You have the parts everybody wants, but can't catch up with demand with the amount of employees you have. Mistakes are bound to happen in these situations. Again, I may be way off, but I bet I'm not.
The good news is Ride Wright will take care of you. They made a few mistakes with my order, but went way above what I expected them to do. I have nothing but good things to say about the way they and DR. V-Twin handled my issues. I was also extremely pissed when it happened to me. Try and be patient, it will get taken care of. I understand exactly where the OP is coming from, because it happened to me.
another ride wright problem take a good look its seems to be happening on a daily basis now. who do they have working for them. these things can all be avoided if they had some quality control seems like they are becoming one of the companies who are living on past reputation. yes its great that they will make it right but at your expense meaning another delay in game. chit happens but this stuff can be avoided very easy measure twice cut once kind of the same idea. double check all orders maybe even three times its definitely costing them money any way you look at it
I'm with you on this one. They make a damn nice looking product, one of the best I have seen. They always seem to make it right, but at what cost. If I spend that kind of coin, I want it done right, the first time. Big difference between being able to drive a couple miles to get the right rotor, or the correct crush tube, than shipping it. Shipping, at it's fastest is keeping me out the saddle for at least three days, no matter how you slice it. I know mistakes happen, but reading these threads, it's happening a little too often. As much as I want some Fat 50's, I'm reserved to find another product that I like as well.
