I have nothing but good things to say about the way they and DR. V-Twin handled my issues. I was also extremely pissed when it happened to me. Try and be patient, it will get taken care of. I understand exactly where the OP is coming from, because it happened to me.
Forum sales are but a very small percentage of what they sell. I have been to their manufacturing facility several times and it is always the same. Everyone is hard at work getting things done.

If it helps any I heard you can reuse the dynabeads... But I'd rather buy new ones cause I'm lazy. Hope you get it worked out... The guys are right about the rear being larger then the front rotor bolts.

That sounds like it could be the problem but all you need is one good guy to do a real good check before shipping and hopefully a lot of this crap can be caught before it leaves. it would save them lot of money and help them keep a good reputation. if a company wont make good on there mistakes it wont be long before they are out of business. you really cant expect others to pay for your mistakes any decent company would make things right its just good business

Well I guess I was wrong, won't be the last time. They need to take more time checking orders then because they shorted me on the rotor bolts also. They took care of it, which I appreciated. Not everybody does business this way, trust me, I learned the hard way on the other wheels I had to sell.

God, you've all got me concerned now!
I'm over in the states this month, leaving in a couple of days & ive ordered some Fat Daddy's from Ride Wright, for me to pick up & take back to the UK!
I would be screwed if when I get back they don't fit!?

Are you picking up the wheels directly from the manufacturer? If so,maybe some guys will post a checklist of dimensions/components you can check when you pick up the wheels. Scary prospect for sure.Good luck.

chap ... Understand what your saying personally if that was me i would order them through a dealer using either Drag specialties or Custom Chrome that way i have someone to fall back on if it goes tit's up because believe me once your back in England with your wheels and there's a problem who ya gonna call Ghostbuster's .... Was considering some wheels from them but really too many problems so going the PM route never heard a bad word .....

For what it is worth my buddy just got a set of Sinister Wheels for his ride and they are KILLER! He didn't like some of the finish and sent them back, there was no issue.
He is very happy and the rims look awesome.
Just a thought for you guys who are looking at high dollar rims, there are others!

Okay, here I go again. Ride Wright ships hundreds of wheels a day. It is the very nature of the motorcycle industry and for custom made to order wheels in itself to not be without issue ON OCCASION. Granted there have been a few people who have had issues, people rarely say anything when they get their wheels and they are great and bolt right up.

I am not sure who has spread such rumors in a rampant fashion, but in my personal dealings with various companies that manufacture custom built to order wheels, Ride Wright has been by far the easiest company to work with and has churned out the highest number of problem free products.

I choose companies I work with personally based on the quality of their product, warranty, and ability to serve the customer before, during and after the sale. Ride Wright has nearly always lived up to my expectations and has always taken care of any issue after the sale regardless of what people say.

Mistakes do happen and sometimes things go wrong, but this constant bashing of a product or company due to one or two peoples experiences that they claim were negative are so blown out of of proportion.

There are other companies that make similar wheels (DNA for example) that I refuse to deal with as their ability to handle anything after the fact of the initial sale was impossible. I even went out of my way and walked in the door of their offices and was treated like crap and passed from one person to another who claimed to know nothing and said I had to talk to so and so.

I do not work on commission for anyone who is not aware and my main goal with Dr. V-Twin is to bring a quality product from a quality company to the customer at a great price every time. I do the best I can with this and it is very disheartening to read such negativity. I would suggest you try working for a shop and dealing with issues as they arise, then you might have a better idea of the number of problems that arise from any given company and their product.

There are quite a few companies I refuse to deal with due to their lack of customer service.

This settles it for me. Seems like there is a new post every day about ride right problems. I am going with dna's while my bike is in storage. My indie says he's installed tons of them and has never had an issue, but also says that he ALWAYS uses tubes.
