Anyone have this fender bib? opinions? It say's the bottom is molded... plastic?
Does it cover the protective tape? and can the passenger pillion be mounted on top of this bib? thanks for any info.
It looks like the one on my bike before I had it customized; however, the part numbers are different according to the link you provided and my search results for a 2010 Fatboy Lo, i.e. 52018-08 v. 52038-08. Mine does cover the tape. Personally, I haven't mounted the passenger pillon on top of the fender bib.

Every time I see your Stingray seat, bib, and tank panel I get jealous. LOL
It has to be the nicest I have seen on any bike.
Enhance the nostalgic solo look by replacing the SoftailŽ Deluxe model's Original Equipment Passenger Pillion and luggage rack with this decorative fender cover. Form-fitted to hug the contour of the rear fender, this decorative fender cover hides the passenger pillion and luggage rack mounting holes that are exposed when riding with a solo seat. Styled to match the Original Equipment solo seat, the Fender Bib features a textured leather insert to complete the nostalgic look. The molded base is finished with a soft felt underliner designed to protect the fender's painted surface.
U might be able to mount the seat over it, but it would prob smash it and leave some marks on it. So IMO I wouldn't.
I have tried to put the passenger seat on my bike over the bib but the seat screw was to short. Then after thinking about it, why leave the bib on if your putting the seat on. Your not saving any time in doing so.

Thanks. I finally dropped off the passenger pillon and sissybar pad off to be redone. I may have them by this weekend depending on when the shop received the additional stingray piece for the passenger pillon. Even thought about adding just a touch of burgundy to the corners of the saddlebags.
I put my seat over the bib. I just added a few washers under the screw to make it longer and fit. It does save time, only have to put the seat on, don't need to take off drivers seat
