Default can i add washers between risers and triple

I need 1/8 inch of clearance to fit my nacelle, would it be a bad idea to at 2 washer on each side as spacers? (between triple tree and risers)

You can add a spacer that's thick enough to give you the clearance you need, but don't use washers (more than one).
You need to make sure ithe spacer is at least as big around as the bottom of the tripple tree and replace the bolts with ones that are that much longer than the stockers and are at least grade 5, grade 8 would be better.
The reason you should not use washers is that they are not always wide enough to distribute the loading properly and more than one might allow the risers to rock on the tripple tree.
Any movement on the part of the risers will eventually overload the bolt causing it to crack and maybe fail.
You might not like riding down the road someday and have to hit the brakes hard and find the cables and wires are the only thing keeping the bars from falling off the bike.

Why not look for risiers that are a little taller that's made for the job or see if they actually make something that does what U want..

I've seen spacers sold for what you're asking, but they've all been 1" spacers.
Dennis Kirk and J&P Cycles have them.

I used some thick .25 washers that I picked up at a local hardware store to get my nacelle to fit just right with my washers. I would not recommend using multiple washers. If you got to a nuts and bolts hardware store I'm sure you will find the washers you need.

I wasn't thinking it through far enough last night, it was kinda late when I typed that posting.
But if you have to use a thick washer to space the riser up there is a way to do it that's a lot safer than just putting it under the riser.
First make sure that the washer your going to use is NO wider than the base of the riser.
If it’s too wide it will rest on the triple tree and not on the bushing inside it.
The vibration and pressures of pushing the bike around the garage or parking lot will in short order cause the chrome on the top of the triple tree to start pealing.
It will also negate the vibration dampening effects of the bushing inducing fatigue in both your hands and the retainer bolt.
A good way to use one would be to first make sure it’s the right height and size.
Then use a Q-Tip or something to oil up the threads in the riser and clean the bottom flat of the riser with a degreaser of some kind.
Next, mix up a small amount of an epoxy glue like JB Weld and use it to cover the bottom of the riser with a very thin layer leaving a little space around the threaded hole.
Put the washer in place and use a well oiled or waxed bolt and spacers or extra washers to clamp it into position.
Wipe off any excess that gets squeezed out then remove the bolt and let it setup for 48 hours.
It doesn’t really take that long to setup, but waiting that long will insure that it’s good and hard later.
Once your ready to reassemble things, use a little clear or colored (your choice) nail polish on any exposed parts of the washer to stop it from rusting, give it a few minutes to dry and you should be good to go.

Good Luck and ride safe.
