Rogue Chopper has a system to completely flush the system but I mesed up the return line clip on my 96" Softail and cost me 50$ to get it fixed. Don't know what I did wrong and can't get the nerve to try it again. LocoPilot750 has a good idea as well as wlbowers. Thinking about a way to tie in to return line without messing with the plastic clip at the tank.
there was a listing on the forum a short while ago where a guy had a way to drain the sump without removing the return line his was done with a device that went into the filter spot and had a house coming off of it did the same thing but you never removed the return line seemed like a better way then the scavenger and it was cheaper i cant find the thread maybe someone else can
That was for the Evo engines. You can't do that with the tc engines. The oil goes from the oil pump to the filter then the engine.
dont you mean almost 5, 2.5-3 for engine, then 1 for tranny and 1 for primary
Guess my bike is older and is different. It takes 80 oz for the engine, 26 oz for primary, 22 oz for tranny. That is 4 quarts. New ones must be different.

No no, im sorry i was just goin off of how you stated 2.5 quarts for motor, then just assuming a quart in the other 2 holes. you may be absolutly right. wasnt tryin to be a d!ck when i said that, basically just wanted to know if there was an error, the 4 and 5 keys are right next to each other so... my bad dude

They are. They made it easy on the new bikes. 3qts in the oil bag, 1 in the tranny, and 1 in the primary.

I figured it was something like that. No big deal....I just end up with partial quarts in the cabinet, lol. But out of the 15 or so people that I ride with from time to time, I don't know of 1 that scavenges their oil either....
If they had oil coming out of the filter bracket going into a jug on a TC engine they had NO OIL going to the engine. The oil passes through the filter before going to the engine on a TC.
It had to be an EVO engine. The oil goes directly into the engine then through the oil filter then to the tank.
