Default Smaller wheel on Train

Considering swapping out the front wheel on my Night Train from a 21 to a 16 inch. That's a difference of 5 inches which equates to a 2.5 inch drop in height. The rear has 422's on it so I can lower the back 2 inches but the front will still be .5 inch lower than the rear. Is this a problem? How will the bike handle?

Does anyone have experience with this setup?

Before you ask why, I plan to mount a fat wide tire up front and go with an old bomber/bobber look.

There will be no 2.5 in. drop..
The tire for the 16" will bring it out to within
.5 to 1.0" of total orig. diameter (not 5 inches). So maybe 1/4 to 1/2" lower front end.
you probably won't notice any diff. in height.

Check this post.

+1. When I did mine, it dropped the front about 5/8". I did end up dropping the rear the same amount because I had quite a bit more low speed flop due to the decreased trail. All is good now, rides better than stock! Post up pics!

Wheel Dia in Inches does not relate to tire Dia. The overall height of both rims and tires will be close to each other.
