Default noisy headlight

My 2007 Deluxe, headlight vibrates and is quite audible (really getting annoying!)
It appears to be tight and attached well, I didn't notice this until after I put the "visor" trim ring on,
Has anyone else ever experienced this? any suggestions? thanks

No issue's with ours, and it has the Visor on it..

U say it appears to be tight, I'd suggest U really check it out. See if u can move it at all, it should be rock solid.

There are two tabs on the top of the headlight bucket that are supposed to have black rubber thingees on them to keep it from rattling. I lost the black rubber thingees and the same thing happened. So I got some foam insulation and wrapped it around the headlight bucket and put the trim ring back on. All good since then.

I had exactly the same rattling. Sort of sounded like the engine was pinging. But +1 on the Rubber sleeves (AKA the Dr.'s Thingees) that go on the tabs that the trim ring hooks onto. Sort of like a really small rubber band. My Harley Davidson Parts Book doesn't show them but I have to believe that a knowledgeable Dealer Parts person (is this an oxymoron?) will know what the Part Number is. Probably could put a dab of RTV sealant on the tab and let it dry for 24 hours before re-installing the Trim Ring . . . .
