Default Fat Boy Lo heel-toe Shifter
I got my first Harley recenty and it had the heel-toe shifter setup. I'm not a big fan of it the way it's setup, but if it could be altered to make the heel part for downshift instead of being reverse from the front shifter I'd probably use it.

Anyone know if there's something I can get to change this?

Just give it a chance, it's new to you. You'll get use to it in a week if you ride enough. In a month you probably wouldn't want it any other way. Heel/Toe shift is awesome!

Took mine off and got a cover for the shift spline.

I've got 500 miles ahead of me this weekend (can't wait for the week to be over). So I'll have plenty of time to give it a shot. Now that I think about it, I can pretty much use the front as just downshift, and the back as up. That might actually be pretty nice.

He must have done what i did, and took the heel shift lever off and just uses the toe lever. He put a cover over the exposed splined to make it look better.

what he said I have never been a heel shifter, guess I rode dirt bikes too long. It's the first mod I make even before it leaves the dealer.

Ummmm....that's what it was designed to do. I took my heel shifter off too, it gives me more room to move my foot around on the floorboard without hitting it.

It the shaft with splines that the shift lever slides on to.
