Believe it or not, I was planning to paint my wheels just like the Lo since like, a year before the Lo ever came out. When it was released I was like, "hey, Harley stole my idea!" Since the Lo became pretty popular, I didn't want to look like I'd copied the wheel paint scheme from them, so was trying to think of something different, until I found these:
They are stock FB wheels, cut, chromed & powder coated by Impress Plating & Polishing and I believe they are the only set they have ever done like this, so that would make them one-off wheels. Look pretty sweet on my Fatty, imho.
All I can say is WOW! I didn't even know that cutting them was an option.

Thanks! And yes, you can exchange your stock wheels (and some money, of course) to these guys for something they already have or they'll probably do a custom job to your liking, within reason. I've seen them straight cut, or turbine cut (like mine) in either solid black (gloss or flat) or solid chrome. Mine are the only ones I've ever seen them do in the two tone. They may have been an experimental thing, but they look awesome and I get TONS of compliments on them. Check 'em out.
Hoggy, awesome man. They still have a Lo feel to them. Props!
I am curious though, no loss in strength integrity and still safe I assume? I know the fatboy rims should have no issues for such projects...but usually wheels are designed to be safe. Is why I ask.

Those look great man....I really love the invisible seat and tank though.
I guess I'm in the minority here. I've had my Lo about 4 months and am already looking at new wheels. I'm most likely going with a set from Colorado Customs that will be gross cut in black with aluminum accents. The $ will hold that project off until after the holidays but not much longer.
