There are many areas that require the use of IN LBS on a Harley so I suggest you invest the $70 bucks at sears and get one with IN LBS also. Thats what I did and its the most accurate way to get things done correctly.

I just bought it last night and the package say "DUAL SCALES provides inch and metric setting capability" so I figured it had and inch scale and it has ft. pounds on one side and newton meters on the other side.

I must have been mislead.

I don't think you were mislead, it has English and metric scales, "DUAL SCALES". I suspect you will need ft. lbs and inch lbs when you work on your bike, so you might as well go buy the in.lbs version now.

If you're going to get in to the business of maintenance, you should have both a foot/newton torque wrench and a inch/whatevermetric torque wrench. Go back and buy the inch pound wrench and keep your big one too.

Yeah, these will work just fine:

TOOL # 8000733592- 1/2 inch drive- 25-250 FOOT lbs- $109.99- MODEL #944597 Digital unit, real nice to work with.

Tool # 4030681248- 3/8 inch drive-20-150 FOOT lbs. - $74.99- MODEL #944595
Both made by craftsman, good units, both are the clicker types

Tool- 3/8 inch drive- 25-250 INCH pounds- $74.99 -Model #944593

Don't forget to get the case to protect them.

Some people just have the knack or feel, I must admit most of the time I don't use it either.
