hey guys im new to the forum, i will post pics of my 03 heritage once its fixed. anyways i was torqing the lower pinch bolt on the lower tree down to spec and it broke off. i removed the stud to replace it and i heard a sizzing sound from the fork with a lil oil leaking out, then i got on the bike and the fork is completley lost pressure and is so soft and bouncy, what is the fix for this? changing fork oil, or what else? thank you

 

sounds like you drained the fork oil, gotta buy new. In the DIY sections you should be able to find help. A service manual is a great thing to have.

 

thats what i thought but harldy any came out?? i guess i wll drain and refill??

 

i guess what im saying is there wasnt really any reasonable amount of fluid that came out...the dealer just changed the fluid, so with that being said the fluid still needs to be added?

 

i would ask the dealer what they think, i thought yo umeant a lot came out.
