Question Casting #'s For '08 Crossbones Heads???

I'm lookin to see if anyone knows what the casting numbers of the heads are for a '08, and probably any, Harley Crossbones. I got part numbers, 17280-08 Front and 17283-08 Rear, but these dont help me when I'm trying to find a new set online. Everyone i've seen so far lists their heads for sale by the casting numbers...so if there is anyone out there that knows what casting numbers match up to these heads, it would be a great help. Thanks.

I got a few differing casting #'s that all end in 06 or 06a, but I believe there may be a certain casting number set for the Crossbones due to the upper motor mount. Before I pulled the trigger on a used set that might not fit, I was hoping that someone knew the stock casting #'s for the front and rear head from a Crossbones-called every dealership and parts man I know with no luck on the info.

The motor mounts the same as any other softail does it not? I sjut put teh heads off a bagger on my bike with no issue. They had an extra hole for the bagger motor mount but you can't even see it unless you know where it is. These ended in 06 and 06A. Softail engines all mount the same. Upper motor mount on the horn side for the heads. That's it. Any bike's heads should work fine as long as they are 06 or 06a. Too bad I already put mine on or I could give you the part nubmers.

The only difference between the XBones head and the 06-06A's are the fin edges are blacked out. All mounts are the same. The FXDB runs the same head

Default Casting #'s Front 17192-08a Rear 17193-06

I got a guy from a small shop in Illinois that happened to have a set of the heads laying around from a Crossbones. The head casting #'s are Front-17192-08a and Rear 17193-06. I had been told the front head on the Crossbones was a new casting, but wanted to verify before I bought a second-hand set online. He couldnt tell me the changes made to the casting, but he did tell me they were an updated cast for the heads. Thanks for all the help guys...and I decided to post this here for anyone looking in the future, cause it was hard as hell finding this info!
