HD website say that they bring the grips 1 1/2" closer to the rider.

for $49.00 I think i'm going to give them a try.

Yea, I was looking at that after I responded. That will definately be the cheapest way out. Your bike looks real good, you might want to consider something with internal wiring to clean up the bars. Check out the other Deuce riders alot of them have done it. I am going to do it sometime in the near future.
