02 night train -biggest rear wheel

Default 02 night train -biggest rear wheel
What size rear wheel can i fit on a 02 night train? I dont want to change the swing arm, I just want to bolt it on. I was thinking about an 18. Will it fit?

An 18" will fit just fine, it's width that you need to be concerned with. I'm running a 140 right now, but I'd say you might be able to squeeze a 160 in there at most.

Yup Branner's right I got a 160 metz and it just fits in my 05.... Careful now different brands are not the same size I think if I went with a avon the 160 wouldn't have fit.

So I have been trying to figure this out, but I have a 01 FXST and I want to know can I put 160 on the back and what size wheel do I need

this is a 160 Metz on a stock wheel. a little work on the bolts and sqeeze it in there. Been running this combo for 5 years no issues,

What profile 160? 160/70?

It's somewhere around 75 series Metzlers are a little different. Like 808 says an Avon same size won't go in there.I like the taller profile for the ride BG.
Fills the fender well.
