Default License plate bag?

Anyone running one of these? I was looking for a place to stash a ball cap and shades when I have my bags off. Don't know if it would hold a ball cap or not, and I'm not completely sold on the looks.

Dude, that thing will scuff up your fender in a big hurry, if you let any dirt or debris collect under it at all. If you need a place to put your ball cap and shades, either get a waist bag or light shoulder bag or sling. I went for the shoulder sling option myself, for any trip where I need anything more than my wallet. It's fake leather, so it's light weight and I don't even feel it when it's on. If you absolutely don't want to have anything you have to wear, then consider investing in a swingarm bag.

if your wanting a bag for a ball cap or something look in to a swing arm bag. MOCO makes one but there are a couple really nice ones out there for the same price by garage leathers and a couple others.... i have one on my Blackline and i can put a sweatshirt, ball cap or my other pair of glasses..depending on day or night.

+1 Assuming it's your Heritage you want this on? I'd just get a fork bag and fasten it up behind your bars...

all of the above are true.. a fork bag that mounts down near your voltage regulator/ABS/whatever you have down there is the best bet, followed by a bar-bag.. the license plate bag, although a good idea, will indeed mess your paint up in a bad way..

Yup, I use the swingarm bag for my ball cap. Need any more room than that, I go to the sling bag.

I just have a fork bag, not a fan of the swingarm bags. If it doesn't fit in the bag it stays home

I run both the license plate bag and the swing arm bag. The license plate bag comes with a vinyl protector patch for your fender so I have had no scratches yet. Both are shown in my signature picture. The only downfall of the license plate bag for me is if the bike gets stuck sitting in the rain (at work) is the padding inside of it gets soaked. For this reason I always keep a Ziploc bag in it for my cell phone. Hope this helps.
