I can't go forward anymore, which is the problem. Maybe the machine shop can make me a new bracket?

Lots of glowing reviews for the Grasshopper, my husband had one on his Vulcan that he swore by and recalled that when he bought it used and it arrived without the mounting bracket a call to them directly produced a new bracket for free.

I use the Grasshopper as well, but i did change the passenger pillion and it does not have the lip that sits over the front seat like the one that is oem. That may be why it is pushing you forward so much.

Don't have a backrest yet. However, I've been looking for one. Today someone posted a thread about the Utopia backrest. Looks pretty interesting.

That Utopia backrest looks nice, is it adjustable?

I have tried to view some of the images on some of the posts of this thread, but I get a "YOu can't do this" message. Does anyone know why I can't view the pics?

Thanks,
Raymond

I picked up a lightly used grasshopper for my '04. It pushed me forward, but I liked the angle. So I took the thing apart and removed about 3/4 of padding. I was pretty thick. Problem solved.
