looking for the most comfortable seat for my bike, i was looking at mustang seats but was wondering if their was something similar but cheaper, thanks in advance
Are you lookig for a solo or 2-up? For 2-up its hard to beat a Sundowner for total comfort. My FXST came with one and it is awesome. It's just setting in my garage collecting dust if you're interested in a cheaper used seat. For a solo I'd go with a Mustang Vintage. I've heard good stuff about the C&C's too.
I too bought a sundowner for when I had someone along. I also got demountable bags and sissy bar and luggage rack... way before a switchback came out, too.
The sundowner solves the problem that I have with the stock seat and my tailbone but it creates a problem with circulation in my legs. The neck of the seat is too wide is what the problem is for me. If I took the badlander neck and the remainder of the sundowner that would be perfect... but ugly. I also had a custom upholsterer insert a section of >waffle< gel medical padding in the sundowner. I rode that seat for 13 hours one day... longest in the saddle on a harley for me.
