In the second pic you can see the turn signal mounted on the end of the fender strut. Both the taillight and signals look more smoked in person I guess the flash made them appear more clear.
Whoa... That looks great!! Where did u get the turn signals?

I also want to know where you got the rear turn signals & price. Those look very cool.

Thanks. I found the turn signals on DragSpecialties.com and found a local dealer who sells their stuff. They are made by Alloy Art and are $142.95.

Citoriplus - Guess they probably wouldn't like the fact that I pulled them off the fender struts and forks either. Glad I don't live in New York.

I live in NY and don't have them. Have never had a problem with the law or inspection.

HD has a new tail light for the softail bobtail fender. It lays up inside the area and looks very good. $240. 69817-07. I'm pretty sure that the bottom half (plate mount) is removable.

I agree it is a good looking light. It wasn't out when I was looking for options. But I found this pic of the Tri Bar LED, with the tag section removed, in the FXST pics section. It looks like removing the tag mount leaves a metal bracket exposed just below the light. Something to consider if you plan on using that light with sidemount plate.

Doesn't look like it would take very long to cut that metal tab off if your really offended by it.
The other option would be to just paint it flat black to see if you like it without it there. The flat paint would make it virtually disappear against the tire behind it.

There's always options, just throwing the info out there. If I was looking at a $240 light I would want to know I was still gonna be doing some painting and/or cutting.

This is a great picture...

I love the pic of the bike and the detail of the light, but the UPS guy in the background bringing more parts is absolutely priceless...

check j&p for sidemount brackets also. I think they have a wide selection. I just finished a seat for a guy up in Byron Il. It was supposed to get there on Friday, but he said it didn't get there because you guys had one hell of a snow storm. It was a two piece tooled seat with laced edges.
