04 Heritage 40,000. bought it with 23,000 had some front end engine noise, figured it needed new chain tensioners so pulled the bottom end and replaced everything including a different cam while I was in there. Put it all back together but same noise, finally figured out it was compensator nut. Tightened to 165 lbs. Noise gone, bike runs great. Running down the highway the other day, pulled off and noise back. Sure enough compensator nut finger loose again. Locktighted before, only 6-thousand miles later its loose again. Not a good sound to listen to for 600 miles to get home. Anybody else with this problem. Having to keep tightening the compensator nut.
