I have about 3500 miles on a OD6. The work order was for a DD6. The parts guys orders the wrong gear set. I noticed it when I picked the bike up. The service manager is doing right by me. Told me to drive the hell out of it since they cannot return it and it was already installed (SM was out of town during the install). They are swapping out the gears sets at no cost.
So this spring I can compare the OD6 and DD6.
The OD6 is a smooth shifting set. I am happy with the quality of the gear set. You just have to get the speedo calibrator and have it put on a dyno. My speedo registered 40mph and my ride following me said I was at 70mph
The one thing I did not like is there is not a postive "stop" for 1st or 6th (feels like you can shift into another gear)
