Default Deluxe with duals need advise!

Hey,

From time to time I have been getting requests from guys that typically don't run saddlebags to come up with a set of pouches that can mount to both sides of the bike that don't look obtrusive. I'm working on a set (left and right) of tool pouches that can be mounted on the side of a California Outlaw Style of Deluxe.

Here is a prototype for that purpose and I'm looking for feedback inprovements and or ideas. Know before you go any further, this is a prototype the production version will be tooled to match the seat and laced around the edges.

I think I'd like it better if it weren't angled.

This is good feedback. One of the things you have to take into consideration is clearing the suspension...So some of you would like it more boxy?

My thoughts were to create an angle look that gives you the impression that it's part of the seat

looks pretty good , maybe a bit more squared off . first thing i thought when i saw it was ... that's looks about right for a Glock . might attract more attention from the LEOs than you really want .
my second thought was ... is the production model going to have a more secure closing mechanism ?

i think it's very cool that you're coming here asking for feedback . i hope you sell a ton of them !

Lets see how bag looks mounted upside down, inorder to provide more clearance for slammed bikes. Mount as close to bitch pad as possible.

I like them, angled is surely better, both in looks and to clear pulley if lowered, any projected prices?

I can do any type of closure. I'm thinking maybe a couple of straps that go all the way around the bag with quick release buckles. As far as coming on here for feedback. I've done this with everyone of my products. You've got to make products that fit the Biker's needs...right??
