Hi all,
just need some advice on this, hope someone can chime in with experience doing this.
I got an 04 FLSTCI (Heritage), and I just bought 20 inch Wild1 Pshyco Apes.
thing is, I got no clue on what size cables I need to buy! Bike has a 1.5 inch Riser (stock Riser) and thats fine, since I'm over 6'3" the 20's feel better (Sat on a road king before with 20 inch apes and it felt good).
I know Motion Pro and Barnnet have cables (sorry for the misspelling), but who should I go with in regards to size availability and quality?
Please help! If you have measurements That would be extremely helpful! I wanna do as much research as possible before buying these control cables, since I want them to work as good if not better than the stock cables.
talk to drew from dr. v twin. he is on here and I talked to him last week about cables for mine and he helped me with lengths and suggested I go with the magnum cables. They are a little more expensive but I have read several reviews and they are the best. By the way, I got the cables delivered today. too bad I'm still waiting on BR to finish my bars.
I can get you a set for that height no problem. Pm or email me at DREW@DRVTWIN.COM Youa re alos going to need poly riser bushings and a wiring extension or to splice wires yourself for the extra needed length.
