You live in Massachusetts... your riding season must be over. Just get the chrome one powder coated black. If the chrome is in good shape, they can pc over it. If not, they'll bead blast it first. Either way, it's way more cost effective than buying a replacement.

HAH! With the crazy weather here, there is always the chance of it being 60 in february. Plus I will ride until it's snowing. A little cold doesn't bother me.

WOW! Either you're tougher than me, or the weather has changed since I lived there. I remember that much after November 1st I had to bundle up so much that I didn't feel I could operate the controls safely. I do remember seeing a guy on Rt.2 commuting every morning on a BMW tourer well into December though. Maybe you're him and bought an NT lol! Anyway G (back again) had the best suggestion. GL!
