Default Getting an 11 deluxe tomorrow

Some of you may know that I have an 08 883 C in my signature named the red mistress that I have put nearly 27,000 miles on in exactly 2 years (almost to the week) . Well tomorrow I am trading her in for a 11 deluxe with abs.

So I will likely need a ton of my questions asked.

My first would not a deluxe question but any thoughts on an extended warranty is it worth it ? My deal is done with the exception of that.

Also trying to figure if there are any of my add on parts that will fit the deluxe. I don't think so but thought I would ask. Like crash bar? Windshield?, luggage rack, sissy bar? I know my highway pegs will fit.
Everything else I am selling on ebay.

Any advice from anyone else who came from a sporty to a soft tail?

You've got great taste there SugarLips. I don't believe what you listed here will fit on the D. That being said, luggage rack comes standard so you're one step ahead already. Good luck with her.

Yeah, nothing off of the 883 will work on the Lux. Why abs? When I purchased mine I talked them into an extra year on the warranty. So maybe just a little talking could get you atleast an extra year.

Post some pics when you can. I think the only thing that will fit on the Deluxe from the Sporty is you

Congratulations! I think you'll definitely love the Lux! Not that I'm partial to them or anything. lol

I don't know how long you have to add the extended warranty, but I'm thinking it's at almost any time you can go back and add it, so you may find that out so you can kick that decision around a little longer. I only bought an extended with mine because she was used, although she only had 548 miles on her, I just thought it was smart thing to do given that she's obviously sat around for a while. I've never bought an extended warranty for anything else that I purchased new, cars etc.

Can't wait to see some pictures!
