Looks good. How much of the speedo is covered by the bars?

Nice job Arty!!!! HD really screwed up with that stock bar setup. The ability to change the bars really opens the door for that bikes possibilities.

It covers up the 50-75 digits, but you can easily tell where the needle is when you ride.
Thanks!

Todds made a cool speedo relocation mount down by the shifter.

Someone else here bought a set of RSD apes, cut them apart and mounted them directly to the triple tree a while back. It was really cool but I cannot remember who it was. Gonna do a search to find it. It was xjayx. Jay, psot a link to your thread for these guys. You skills really made this mode special.

your bike is looking good arty

xjayx did a great job on his....after seeing what he did i quit thinking about what bars i cant use and started thinking about what bars i really want.

personally i want to see what the stock base looks like so i can re-create it as i like to keep my stock parts even if they just sit in a box somewhere, otherwise i may have cut them up by now

i'm liking the creativity here!
nice job.

i have the hd pullback bars for now....
but i am seriously considering cutting the stock bars just above speedo height, grinding a saddle joint in to the remaining lower portion of the bars, and then welding a set of apes to them.
instant bars with integral risers.
