Rush slip on's. You will get more hp/torque and it will sound like a Harley!!
I would not do any more to the bike than absolutely necessary.
You are going to want a new one in two or three years any way.
Everyone wants to trade up sooner or later.
When you sell or trade it in you won't get a dime more for the bike
not matter what you add to it.

Some good advice, everyone. Thanks!

Can I fit the stock silver heat shields that are currently over the stock mufflers over a set of Rush slip-ons?

possibly.. not sure what the official HD response is towards that.. but a PITA dealer can tell you that you'll void your warranty for putting air in your tires..

Yeah see I'm basically trying to avoid voiding the warranty while I still have it as a new bike.

Sigh...

So if I had to do this at the dealer... if I got full exhaust, can i get away with just an air filter and a download as a minimum?

They won't just install the exhaust without doing some sort of reprogramming, right?

Or is it dealer-to-dealer, again?

Thanks!

You wont void the warrenty with the PV because you can name the map the same as the stock one. So if the dealer scans it it wont see that anyone has messed with it.

Sigh...

If you want to totally stay on the "take no chances" side, you have to get it all done by your dealer. (Pipes, air cleaner & EFI map download or SE RaceTuner & Dyno).

If you go that route, try to have it done by them within 60 days from the day you bought your bike. If you do, all the parts are now also covered under your factory 2 year warranty.

You can confirm that info on the HD website.

Changing pipes won't void warranty.
