I just bought a 2002 Fatboy and I plan on doing all my maintenance. Just curious if all 3 fluids can be changed while on the kick stand or do I need a lift. Thanks for any responses.
Hey, thanks for the quick reply. Any ideas on the best wheel chock? Most of them are designed for use in trailers or truck beds.
This will work on the ground and you can mount it on a trailer and the price is right!
Or for $30 more you can get a motorcycle lift if you are doing more mods on the bike.
Beats getting your buddies to help lift it up on blocks! lol
Also a good thing to get if you are changing your oil is one of these.
If you are real particular about your oil, you should check out the "Oil Scavenger".
I use it, and it is amazing how much old crappy oil is left behind on a normal oil change without it.
Thanks for all the good tips, guys. I just ordered the wheel chock suggested by Jester. Should be here by Saturday. I may use the chock for storing the bike "straight" up versus the kick stand so I can save a little space in the garage. Thanks again guys!
