Okay, I just got a pair of these and they`re everything you guys say they are. `Best upgrade money I`ve spent so far.
Yes I put a pair on and every time I ride I think that was a great addition. I will say they are ugly as heck and as soon as its warm OFF they come. I will also put them on for long road trips. 4 bolts total so might as well be quick release.
After reading the OP, I went out and bought a pair from my local dealer, installed them on my Heritage and rode on a windy and cold day in NH. I noticed the difference immediately. At over 60 there really is no buffeting to speak of. I like how they reflect the light from the LED turn signals.
I'm glad I was curious of the thread title 'cause I'd never heard of them until now.
Mine are black, painted them with Plastidip. Touched them up a time or two, what with the bugs and all.
Didn't really do much for the buffeting, most of my bad air comes up at rear of fuel tank. My soft lowers cure that, but can't run them when it's warm out. May get a touring crash bar and mount up solid lowers with vents for summer.
