Let me try a 3rd time on the pic. I was at a work location using dial-up. Times out before it is uploaded.

Jump, GREAt info, that's the type of details I am looking for! I am 6'1", around 190, she is 5'5" 130. So looks like we are fairly close there. For the backrest, doesn;t that require going through the rear fender for the brackets, opposed to a few simple screws? Ideally, I would have a comfy seat for 2up, then a nice solo for myself alone, so if the backrest removal is a pain, I would have to find a decent compromise.
With her, I usally make stops at least every 45 minutes or so now and that's with my XLH 1200 comfy seat. Overall I think any bike is gonna make a difference. Cause this bike is gonna be my keeper and plan on totally tricking it out.

I am also a Duece owner (2003) and it was the bike I wanted when I bought my Sporty brand new in 2001, but, the Duece was just too damed expensive at the time. I have since sold the Sporty because my wife is the one saying "lets go for a ride" and the Duece is much more comfortable for 2 up riding, especially considering your height. Now to the point, I agree that any touring seat just kills the lines of the Duece, but, here was my solution. I bought a Corbin "Younggun" seat and use it when I ride alone. I swap it out for the factory 2 up seat and sissy bar when the wife rides along. Total time to swap the seats is about 15 minutes and thats being careful and taking my time. I know, I timed myself yesterday just to see how long it would take for the swap. The sissy bar is held in place with 2 mounting plates that sandwiches the topside and underside of the rear fender. So when the seat is removed, you just remove the 3 nuts from the underside of the rear fender and the mounting plate lifts right off. The only forseeable problem is if you lower the rear of the bike. It is already a tight squeeze to get your hands up in between the fender and tire, so keep that in mind. As far as selecting the Duece for you next bike, I am here to tell you that going from a Sporty to a Duece will cause you to pick bugs from your teeth for days because you will be smiling so much. I loved my Sporty, but, like I said the Duece was and still is my dream bike. BTW, the Corbin Young Gun seat is a two up seat, it just doesn't have much width to it and without a sissy bar my wife says its like sitting on a banna peel....lol, but, man does that Corbin look good on the Duece! Hope my input helps.

Peace out--

Razor, EXCELLENT! Thanks so much man! I wonder why HD dealers can't give us these kinds of details???
I can only assume I would lower the bike, thus might have a hard time getting that sissy bar off. Possibly something else might be able to be made to do it easier? I do know, if I get the Deuce, I am gonna get a different rear fender, more like the short chopped ones running with a larger rear tire.
Guys thanks again, I am getting there ( I do have time yet, planning on ordering or looking this fall and have it by next spring). I am down to a Springer, Deuce, or (gulp) a Big Dog. I figure get the cool trick bike now while my body can still handle it, then grab the bagger later in life:&gt
Again, any comments are appreciated!
