Any pics with the straight tips on? I prefer the slash but would like to see
I have enough going on with the bike that the pipes aren't on yet. Still in the box in my home office with the straight tips beside them, in another box. I'll share pictures when I'm done for sure, but in the mean time, let me see if I can find the inspiration for this decision. Only seen one other to do it....
I really want the original Big Shots. The pipes were a bit shorter, and flush to each other. But, V&H discontinued them.
Edit- he is a member here..handle is rockyriver. Here is a pic of his sled with BSS's and straight tips...
I like the straight tips a lot. Kozy, not to further complicate the situation, but I also was considering the quiet baffles and decided against them for now. A V&H rep told me that the fiberglass wrap needs to be changed out every 9 months or so -- which may or may not be a big deal to you. I'm giving the standard baffles a run first, figuring I can swap 'em out later if I want to.
I have the short shots with the standard baffles in them, and heard that the quiet give a better tone so Im going to try them, and figure I can always go back
