I just came across this on Hot Bike. I think it would really give my bike more of a classic look as opposed to the Venturi that is on it now. I am going to see if I can get just the cover from PM. Dunno if it will happen, but I do not have the cash to buy another whole new air fitler.
Ed, PM and RSD are both owned by the same company along with Vance and Hines, Burly, Progressive and quite a few others. Roland Sands (RSD) is the son of Ted Sands who is the owner of PM. All RSD and PM stuff is manufactured in the same facility at the PM factory. So you are correct.
I just talked to my buddy over there. They are not selling just the cover as of yet. I am still going to see if I can get just a cover as it will bolt right up. We'll see what happens. Buying the whole a/c is really expensive when I already have the back part.
