I got the letter as well. Since I had the SERT and dyno performed previously, I'm very happy with mine. Not planning on taking it back in now. It sounds like it is definately worth it though if your bike is still stock.
I also have the SERT installed and love the performance. The dealer stated that by using the SERT the download has already been completed. I seriously doubt that they really know, but I don't believe I'll have them do mine.

I sort of feel the way you do. If the opportunity arises and it's no inconvenience to me, I "may" have it done, but the fact is, I'm currently using a PCIII map and the bike is running and performing just fine. If this "recalibration" were critical, I'm sure The Motor Company would have made this reflash a mandatory recall and not just a suggestion.
I received my letter from HD yesterday. My dealer told me that since I have already had the SERT installed this doesnt apply to me. Any thoughts on that??
The letter says the upgrade is availablefor stock oe configuration vehicles as well as those who have had a street legal calibration change installed.
