Anyone know what size and thread the horn bracket bolts are on a 01 fatboy that go into the head? i have a ringing and the horn was grounded to one of them and i found out the bolt is missing and the horn would work when it felt like it. anyone know this? thanks guys!
yea they closed at 4 today and im a little impatient. plus the dealer out here was kind of a **** head when i went in before. you know what size it is? i just want to get one a home depot for now.
another thing, i do know how to measure it, its the bolt that goes into the top of the head so please enlighten me on how to get in there to measure it without taking the tank off? thanks.
I don't know of any fine threads used in the bolts.
So with out a manual and I've looked on-line for U and can't find it,
So by looking U should get close, so U might have to get 3 or 4 diff bolts sizes and see which one it is. then take back what U don't need.
I have bolt storage cabinet that has hundreds of bolts of all diff sizes, that way I can just pick some out to see which one's needed.
If it goes into Ur heads then take something to put in the hole to see how deep it is. that way U don't get a bolt to long.
Ur mount is different from mine so I can't just say.
