I am having a hard time trying to decide on whether to changer to fender and swingarm to take a 200 mm tire. In the meantime I have boxed up a stock rear rim, rotor and belt pulley for full mirror chrome finish. Looking at Excalibur I see a couple guys have used them.
I am also thinking about lowering the backend and I dig that fatty spoke tire on the red deuce in this thread...man it might be killer to put a 23 inch wheel on the front like that....or the 21 looks great. I need to make sure I leave the fun of driving a deuce in the bike as I do this build up though so thoughts on that would be very helpful.
I put a drag specialties product on her today, pretty cool as it allows the back turn signals to be used as brake lights as well, includes a load equalizer so I am now using LED all the way around which looks good and adds a measure of safety. The catalogue said the part would not work on the Deuce but it does its just your fuse cover wont fit on well anymore...a non issue for me, the part itself is just a straight plug and play.

harleycharlie man I am sure you know that Deuce is at the top of the class. Just something about the Deuce..maybe the strectched tank...anyway great lines.
that slammed look is definetely going on mine. I have read about some air type, I am kind of assuming that is what you have....can you point me to more information.
There are some great pics already in this thread for guys wanting to do their deuce justice.

On mine, and I highly recommend it, is the custom cycle controls air ride system, it rides well and the best part of it is the compressor is built into the shock block, no need to have an external compressor, lines , leaks . The deuce is a minimalist bike and there just isnt room for the extra compressor, (I know the shotgun system runs this and the mount it reasonably well) in my opinion three wires and a switch and you're done, the company is fantastic with lots of support, and they stand behind what they make, in las vegas. you have a nice bike, enjoy making it yours, and thanks for the compliments!!
you also have to lower the front end to keep it level , I suggest a 2" drop kit with some three over tubes, puts it right there where it looks great and still has suspension travel for a decent ride
lower it when you get where you're going, just before riding, I raise it up an inch or so. I have to as my taillight is recessed into the fender (the #1 logo is my taillight) and if my wheel comes up, it will crash into the light, so I need to have some extra clearance for mine. you can adjust it on the fly, but why? does not affect belt tension. it is to get the looks of a really slammed bike while parked, and some suspension while riding, plus it blows peoples minds when you raise or lower it!! it can also be hooked up to a remote, but I'm too lazy!!
gotcha...awesome product. My Grandson is 9 so he will be right around 50 when he is showing off this 100 year baby to the next generation and the 150 year bikes come out. For now though I am going to enjoy this one.
Did you get the rear rim chromed? it's one thing i've been planning on from the start, now getting moved to "when i next pull for a new tire" or "next winter". I got the chrome hd rear spring arms and now have the nut covers on order, planned from the start but just hadn't got round to them yet. In Calgary we have a ton of road salt and I often ride with snow on the ground, so my rear rim is pretty pooched. The chrome is the best method for us to keep corrosion away, most my stock non-chromed have been corroded to some degree. Even after cleaning after a ride, the salt sneaks in every chance it gets! I'd be curious how your mode went/goes.
