Default Another seat question...

Hey all...still trying to replace the seat on the Deluxe. Will the Heritage Seat with the studs and backrest fit? (#51562-00A) Some say it will some say it won't. And if so, will I be comitting an HD sin by mixing styles? Will I be laughed at or will there just be snickering behind my back? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Default RE: Another seat question...

If you'r concerned by any of that, I wouldn't do it. Not really a sin if you like it.

If the purpose of the seat replacement is looks, it would definitely look different.

If the purpose is comfort, you'd be swapping out an apple and buyin more apple.. but still an apple... I'd upgrade out of the HD seats.. I can think of a lot of different seats I'd spend $500 on if I wanted backrests before that one.. Corbin or Mustang seem to be the biggies for backrest seats around here.. I have a mustang and absolutely love it. A lot of happy corbin owners here as well. just better made than the HD seats, that I've seen.. Though this one might be different.. I'd have to see it to believe it. I'll add Lepera in there too but don't know about their touring seats or if they offer such a thing.. Their seats tend to be the low-profile minimal barhopper style but they may offer a tour seat.
