The T/H has a deeper sound. The Fatcat is crisp.
Better finish & chrome on the FC.
Myself, I don't like the way the FC makes that big S off the
rear cyl. But even that new TH X-Series does that. It's close
to your leg. But still, nice pipe.
I like my TH.
So your happy with the Thunderheader? I guess with the clearance issue of dragging the fatcat, the TH is the way to go.
Rub: I love it. The exhaust note is unlike any other pipe, it's music to my ears. Just hearing it makes you want to get on it.
As mentioned, it's not the best looking pipe out there. And honestly, that's why I like it! It's got that "I don't give a ****"/all business look to it. I think wraping it like you're planning will enhance that. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

I guess the difference in our thunderheaders has a reason. Your ride is an EFI right? Mine is an EVO, see how the rear cylinder pipe is exactly the same lenght as the front cylinder they both meet the cone at the same distance, for an important reason.
Mimo: Mine is the same as byers (I'm carbed, by the way). Yours looks like one for a Dyna, although I've seen plenty like yours on Softails, I wonder why. Can someone explain this little mystery??

Interesting, my guess is that it responds to something that prolly only the manufacturer would know... I have a friend who rides, he is 80+ year old engineer, he had never seen the TH before, he has bub pipes on his 88 evo RK police edition. That guy said, "that is the kind of exhaust you don't see that often today, pretty well designed for performance disregarding the looks, they sound awesome? Cherry on top"
