I just could not buy the Thunderheader pipe because I think they are just plan ugly. I went with the FatCat and have been very pleased with the quality, appearance, sound, and performance.
I ran into a guy with a TH yesterday on teh way home from up north. The TH sounded great. Everyone knows I am a fatcat guy but that TH sound was impressive.
My brother rides my 90 fxr with a TH on it and he hates it when i go by him at full throttle on my train with my TH he says it about makes him go death lol
I too am going to replace my exhast and the Thunderheader and Fat Cat were on my short list.
Personally, I'm going to go with the Fat Cat for two reasons. First, I don't like the look of the collector on the Thunderheader (some folks do so don't let that dissuade you). Second, I asked the opinion of a very reputable engine builder (who is a Thunderheader dealer) and he said hands down the Fat Cat is the best "off-the-shelf" exhaust available with regards to performance.
